Jungle Queen Debutante
This “adventure musical” is about a gorgeous debutante whose archaeologist boyfriend goes off to Peru to find the Lost City of Viracocha. It’s “Raiders of the Lost Ark” meets “Dames at Sea”- a zany valentine to the big MGM musicals. The Seattle Times described the Village Theatre production as “just swell … a world premiere that takes a machete to the Technicolor conventions of the 1950s and leaves a trail of laughter in its path.” Jungle Queen Debutante was featured in New York’s "Broadway Dozen" series and at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre’s annual NYC Festival – also in readings at New York’s York Theatre and The Genesius Guild.
