It depicts the development of Einstein as a scientist and clearly explains — in a most unusual song and dance number — the supposedly impossible-to-comprehend theory of relativity. The primary conflict is the struggle in Einstein’s mind between his anti-war beliefs and those around him who would use scientific discoveries to develop ever more powerful weapons of destruction. In the end, we see the conflict played out and we realize that Einstein’s plight is that of all good men when confronted with evil.</image:caption>

Then he meets the factory owner, a Mr. Aloysius A. Aesop, who explains that the factory has been idle for over 2,000 years because of a missing part. Mr. Aesop introduces Monroe to the machinery. <image:caption>Book by Joseph Robinette • Music by Thomas Tierney • Lyrics by Robinette & Tierney One Act • 2 women, 3 men (up 4 women, 5 men) Five middle-school students affectionately, and somewhat wryly, call themselves "The Tuesday Afternoon Regulars" since they often find themselves in detention, perhaps on purpose, at that time each week. Though individually quite different, they all have a common goal: to drop out of school. On this particular Tuesday, the assistant principal (who is the detention supervisor) has long since despaired of his ability to reach the students, so he sets a plan into motion that is at once inspired, surprising, and perhaps life-altering for the students. With generous amounts of humor mixed with drama and poignancy, The Tuesday Afternoon Regulars is a sometimes tough, often tender, and definitely tuneful trip into the dreams, hopes, and fears of six adolescents who are nearing important crossroads in their early lives.</image:caption>

<image:title>The Tuesday Afternoon Regulars - The Tuesday Afternoon Regulars</image:title>

<image:caption>Book by Joseph Robinette • Music by Thomas Tierney • Lyrics by Robinette & Tierney One Act • 9 actors Monroe wanders into a seemingly abandoned factory and accidentally trips a lever that activates the factory "machinery," an assembly line of seven actors who create fabulous fables. Then he meets the factory owner, a Mr. Aloysius A. Aesop, who explains that the factory has been idle for over 2,000 years because of a missing part. Mr. Aesop introduces Monroe to the machinery. Among them are Straucy, the Story Starter; Pluto, the Plot Plotter; Wadsworth, the Word Worker; and Gretel, the Grammar Guardian. The factory proceeds to create and enact stories that become official fables when Monroe himself surprises everyone by supplying the morals.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Book by Joseph Robinette • Music by Thomas Tierney • Lyrics by Robinette & Tierney One Act • 9 actors Mr. Aesop and his colorful collection of factory parts — including Straucey, the Story Starter; Pluto, the Plot Plotter; Wadsworth, the Word Worker; Gretel, the Grammar Guardian; and others — are back again, with more fables and songs to delight and enchant. This sequel to the original Fabulous Fable Factory finds the group still searching for a permanent moral maker. The 2,000-year-old factory, which moves about in time and space, attempts to return to the spot where it landed 30 years ago and reconnect the ensemble with their first temporary moral maker. Many surprises await them, however, when they encounter a much different world than before (introduced to them by a 12-year-old who accidentally discovers the factory). With five new exciting fables and an equal number of lively songs, this delightful new musical will be enjoyed by all ages, whether or not they are familiar with the original — which has had more than 3,000 performances.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Book by Richard Wesley, Music by Thomas Tierney, Lyrics by John Forster Two Acts • 12 Men • 3 Women (plus extras) This musical is set in the 1940’s just after WWII, on the eve of baseball’s integration. It’s the story of two brothers, Luke and Cal Davenport, a star pitcher-catcher team in the Negro Leagues. When Jackie Robinson is tapped for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Luke and Cal get caught up in the dream of playing in the Majors. When younger brother Cal is offered a contract for a major league team and accepts, Luke who is too old to be considered, counters with the idea of starting the first all-black major league team – The Dream Team. The musical climaxes with an exhibition game between Cal’s integrated Triple-A club and Luke’s all-star Dream Team - with brother facing brother in a tense final play. Along the way, we meet Luke’s long-suffering girlfriend Ruth, Cal’s loyal wife Willa, the ambitious black manager Abe Green, major league scouts, and the flamboyant ballplayers. The musical at Goodspeed Opera originally featured the actors S. Epatha Merkerson, James McDaniel, Larry Riley, Reginald VelJohnson and Stanley Wayne Mathis. These actors went on to starring careers in TV, film and Broadway. Songs, press, photos and more at THE DREAM TEAM website Meet the creators of The Dream Team below!</image:caption>

<image:caption>“A rare and intelligent musical … I got a call from friends of mine who raved about a show they saw called Eleanor; I was motivated to obtain a copy of the CD from Valkill Productions and loved every moment of it. The lyrics and what spoken parts of the book can be heard are quite intelligent (oh rare bird on earth!) and one feels really involved with these people. The four leads are marvelous: Anne Kanengeiser (Eleanor), Anthony Cummings (Franklin), Rita Gardner (Sara), and Steve Routman (Louis Howe). I want theater groups to take notice … you must hear this set.” - Frank Behrens, Syndicated Music Critic, Entertainment Times Musical by Thomas Tierney, John Forster and Jonathan Bolt based on the life of Eleanor Roosevelt. ELEANOR - An American Love Story (Original Cast Recording) features a New York Broadway cast at Washington's Ford's Theatre - featuring Anne Kanengeiser (Ragtime), Anthony Cummings (Bob's son) and Rita Gardner (original Girl in The Fantasticks). The show has played many other theaters around the country, including Seattle's Village Theatre (Issaquah, WA), Pittsburgh Public, Musical Theatre West in LA and Chicago's Marriott Lincolnshire. <image:title>Products - FIVE GUYS IN A BEETLE - The Grandest Grand Tour: Europe, 1963</image:title>
<image:caption>by Thomas Tierney with Maureen Tierney They wore white shirts, dark suits, some had crew cuts...all found themselves adrift in a strange new world. Five American college boys, for some their first time outside of their native Illinois, squeezed into a Volkswagen in the summer of l963. Minus the technical wizardry of GPS, smartphones, and today’s numerous apps, they took off--as novices--relying on the now outdated services of the American Express office for news from home. Little did they know that their journey through post-war Europe would provide a treasure-trove of experiences that would have a lasting influence on their lives. This one trip not only opened their eyes to the culture, tastes and customs of Europe, but it became the source of laughter, shared memories and multiple group reunions for decades to come. The five guys came of age that summer. All became folks you would like to know and be friends with.</image:caption>
